Adventure Begins at Your Library!
Fridays, July 5 - August 2, 1:15-3 pm - 5 sessions
A great way to encourage children to read through the summer with five weeks of games, crafts and themed reading incentives for Pre-K & up. This year’s theme, Adventure Begins at your Library, opens up a world of possibilities of imagination. Children 4 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Call the library to register your child. Walk-ins welcome!

Some of the adventures we’ll go on together in no particular order:

Adventures on the Water:
Stories about turtles, coloring, turtle and frog crafts, and Q-tip painting dragonfly craft.

Adventures in Nature:
Scavenger-hunt-suncatchers, air dry clay pinch pot bird nests, paw print cork coasters, a spider craft with the Spider Webb game, and nature stories.

Adventures with Monsters:
Make toilet paper roll monsters, blow paint monsters, finger puppet monsters, and a Bigfoot terrarium.

Travel Adventures:
Straw launched paper planes, clothespin cars, stained glass sidewalk chalk, paper plate mandalas, and we are breaking geodes.
