Children will learn from author and Kindred Moon dog sled team leader, Jo Lynn Stresing. A husky from her team will be present and children will have time to work on storytelling and illustrating.

This is a presentation for children of all ages with a focus on storytelling, and illustrating the stories you tell. One of Jo Lynn's Siberian Huskies from her Kindred Moon dogsledding team will also make an appearance!

About Jo Lynn

Jo Lynn Stresing of Kindred Moon Siberian Huskies is a 40 year devoted enthusiast who displays a variety of appreciation for our beautiful breed. Living in Up State New York’s snow country, Jo Lynn is a breeder, exhibitor, presenter (schools & winter festivals),musher & snow race organizer (Tug Hill Challenge/8 years), Amazon Author (Under a Kindred Moon, Illustrated Siberian Husky), and Artist with Limited Edition Siberian Prints, Siberian Themed Fabric and Original Artwork featured in permanent collections at multiple museums. Jo Lynn Stresing’s Tribute to Leonhard Seppala is at the Carie M. McLain Memorial Museum in Nome, Alaska for the 100 year Anniversary Celebration of the serum run. Additional museum credits include: Siberian Husky History of the Breed at the AKC Museum of the Dog in NYC, Heading Home & New Colt at the Corolla Wild Horse Museum in Corolla, NC., as well as ten North American and New York State Inductee Portraits at the North American Fiddler Hall of Fame.
