A three hour workshop on loom weaving with fabric artist Jen Pepper
Join us on Saturday February 21st from 10:30am-2:30pm for a four hour workshop on loom weaving with Jen Pepper. We will break for lunch from 12:30pm-1pm. Please bring a bagged lunch and a water bottle.
Snow date will be Saturday February 28th 10:30-2:30pm.
Have you ever been interested in working with yarn to make interesting geometric patterned
imagery in fiber? This is a 4-hour introductory workshop into tapestry weaving where you will
learn loom warping on a mini loom, followed by basic weaving with diagonal, interlock and
dovetail joins, adaptation to other Navajo patterning techniques, finishing techniques and
more. You will come away with a mini wall hanging or a piece of wearable art for your very own. Looms and materials will be supplied. There is limited space for this workshop and you must register. This is an adult program. There will be a waiting list so if you must cancel please do so by February 11th so we can contact people from the waiting list.
