Homeschool grow together group for kids 5-9

This Homeschool Group for kids aged 5-9 offers a weekly gathering to get curious, explore a variety or topics, enjoy a variety of books and reading styles, and to spend time growing together. Registration is through the end of the 2025-26 season, May 13th.

- Program led by a certified NYS teacher & homeschool mom (volunteer) with library staff assisting
- A parent/caregiver must stay on the library property (for insurance purposes), but can relax in other library spaces
- Please plan on regular weekly attendance
- Program may run approximately 30 minutes longer on some days throughout the year to accomodate more intensive projects, etc. 
- No Homeschool Hop when the Waterville Central School District closes. In the case of one hour delays, or other inclement weather, please use your best judgement
- Information and updates will be emailed to both the legal and attending adult

About the Library

From Utica and points north: Take State Route 12 South to Waterville. At the first signal light in town, continue straight on Stafford Avenue one block. At tee-intersection stop sign, turn right onto White Street. Look for Library lane entrance at about 300 feet on the left . From points east and west along US Route 20: At Sangerfield signal light (a Nice 'n Easy is on northwest corner of this intersection), turn north onto State Route 12, 1.3 miles into village of Waterville. Bear right at signal light onto White Street. Look for Library lane entrance at about 0.1 mile on the right.
