Presented by our former "Sap Tote", Miss Amy. Discover how maple syrup is made, sample the sweet results, and learn what makes maple trees and syrup production unique to our region.
This program explores what makes maple trees and sugaring traditions unique to our part of the world, including how weather and climate affect spring maple production. Miss Amy will also share insight into modern technologies that are changing maple agriculture today. A fun, flavorful program for anyone curious about where this local sweetness comes from.
Every program at your Library is free and open to all, made possible by the generosity of volunteers, sponsors, donors, and library resources.
