Create your own colorful pocket and tuck a favorite poem inside—or write one of your own! Then carry your pocket poem with you and surprise someone by sharing it on National Poem in Your Pocket Day on April 30. It’s a fun way to spread a little poetry and brighten someone’s day.

From Utica and points north: Take State Route 12 South to Waterville. At the first signal light in town, continue straight on Stafford Avenue one block. At tee-intersection stop sign, turn right onto White Street. Look for Library lane entrance at about 300 feet on the left . From points east and west along US Route 20: At Sangerfield signal light (a Nice 'n Easy is on northwest corner of this intersection), turn north onto State Route 12, 1.3 miles into village of Waterville. Bear right at signal light onto White Street. Look for Library lane entrance at about 0.1 mile on the right.
