Come and learn all about the revolutionary moral treatment that began in 1843 when the asylum opened. Old Main was the first asylum of its kind in the United States and was named "the mother of all institutions." After his presentation, Dennis will be selling copies of his book and answering questions on Old Main.

Traveling south on Genesee St., the Library is located on the left (east) side of the street between Dakin St. and Eagle St., diagonally across from Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute. The parking lot entrance is on Park Avenue at the rear of the building.
