The Old Forge Library’s Music in the Gazebo Series will feature Cosby Gibson and Tom Staudle performing “Historic American Revolutionary Songs” on Monday, June 30 at 4 p.m. on the library lawn.
This special performance commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
The history of the American Revolution is marked by pivotal battles, influential figures, and defining moments—but it was also a time of patriotism, inspiration, and song. This engaging program features a selection of historic songs from the Revolutionary era, woven together with a descriptive narrative that brings this important period in American history to life.
Gibson and Staudle are award-winning songwriters and singers who live near the Adirondacks in upstate New York. As a duo, they have performed together for over 15 years, touring both regionally and nationally. Their strong connection with audiences and dedication to their craft have made them returning favorites at the Old Forge Library.

To locate the Library proceed north on Route 28 until you reach the five-way intersection in the center of the village. Then turn left onto Crosby Blvd. and travel one-half block. The Library, a Tudor-style building, is located on the right. Parking is in the rear.
