The Old Forge Library will host “Healing with the Rhythms of Nature: Cooling Herbs and Sun Season Vitality” on Tuesday, July 14 at 6 p.m.

Led by Boonville-based herbalist Jessica Maureen Hinsdill, this free class will explore how plant-based practices can support well-being during the height of summer. Participants will learn about two locally growing medicinal plants known for their cooling and restorative properties, along with simple tips for harvesting and preparing them at home.

The class will also feature a seasonal tea tasting, offering attendees an opportunity to experience the flavors and benefits of herbal infusions in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Jessica is the founder of Wild Soulstice LLC, where she provides herbal education and consultations, and she also leads plant walks for the Black River Environmental Improvement Association.
