Summer Reading Kick Off

Prehistoric Party

Join us on the library lawn for a dinosaur themed party to celebrate the start of Summer Reading! We will have activities and information about the summer reading program for all ages!

Join us on the library lawn on July 1st between 4-7pm to sign up for summer reading, get information about upcoming events, sign up for limited attendance programs, make dino crafts, and watch a dinosaur race!

Those who attend kick off and participate in voting for their favorite dinosaur for the dinosaur race portion of the program will be entered to receive a special prize!

In the event of inclement weather, outdoor activities will move indoors. 

Accommodation requests can be communicated to our children's librarian Ms. Emily at erundle@midyork.org or 315-336-4570. We strive to create reasonable accommodations for all who are interested in attending library programs.

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver aged 12+ who will remain at the library for the entirety of the child's time at the library. Children under the age of 6 must have a caregiver in immediate proximity. Library staff cannot provide childcare.
