Childrens Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program for children ages 4 - 10. Program will be held on Wednesdays and begin on Wed. July 8, 2026 and end on Wed. August 12, 2026. Program will be 10 am to 12 pm each Wednesday

Contact the director at the Barneveld Library (315-896-2096) to sign-up your children.  There is no cost for this reading program.  Program will begin on Wednesday July 8, 2026 and will end on Wednesday August 12, 2026.  Hours for each day are 10 am to 12 pm.  There will be no program on Wednesday July 22, 2026.  This year's programming will feature the Barneveld Fire Department, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, a visit to a local farm, America's 250th birthday celebration, and Beth the Storytelling Lady.  At each event, a story about that day's program will be read to the children.  Children will also receive a snack and an item they can bring home.  Event sites are subject to change and will be finalized by July 1, 2026.
